What do you think of my new logo?
Designed by myself, my wife and my daughters.
It captures everything that I am passionate about…Whole-Person, Balanced, Holistic Living.
When balance is achieved (as much as possible) in all four areas (puzzle pieces), then it allows our innate well-being to rise to the surface.
Whole-Person Well-Being: This is the overall sense of joyful & calm being, represented by the flourishing blossoming tree. Efforts to bring balance and alignment into the various outer dimensions (emotional, physical, relationship & spiritual) lead to this overall sense of wholeness and well-being.
Emotional Health is an important part of overall health and refers to managing thoughts, feelings, and behaviours in helpful ways. It means you’re aware of your thoughts & feelings and can deal with them, whether they’re pleasant or unpleasant.
Physical Health refers to the state of your physical body and how well it’s operating. It is another dimension of total well-being and covers a wide range of areas including a healthy diet, healthy weight, movement & exercise, personal hygiene and sleep. This dimension is vital for overall well-being.
Relationship Health involves honesty, trust, respect, empathy and open communication with your loved ones and partner. Relationships take effort and compromise from both people. People who have healthy relationships have better emotional and health outcomes.
Spiritual Health may involve being more connected to the ‘being’ dimension, where there is a cultivation of presence and consciousness. It may encompass an expanding sense of purpose and meaning in life. Spiritual health creates a balance between physical, psychological and social aspects of human life.
Remember, even very small changes and shifts in any of the four areas can have a positive impact on the other areas…as well as overall Well-Being.
“Small lifestyle changes can make a big difference to your overall health and well-being. Make that change.”
