I chose to see my struggle with health and being a balanced healthy weight as an opportunity for growth and healing. So instead of looking at my situation as ‘bad’, I rather chose to look at my struggle as a wonderful opportunity as well as a ‘wake-up’ call. Handled correctly with the right mindset and tools, this challenge can raise me to new heights.

This is a much more helpful perspective to take when starting the journey towards health & well-being.

Rather than becoming disheartened and sad because of one’s health difficulty, instead, try and accept the challenge as an opportunityAn opportunity to grow and harness all the wonderful inner resources that are beneath the surface.

We all know of many stories of how adversity has led to greatness. Or those who may have hit ‘rock-bottom’ which led to an awakening. Often the ‘fall’ is followed by a period of growth and upliftment.

It is a bit like the seasons, where following the dark dormant winter months, spring and summer follow.

Whatever your health challenge may be, including being overweight or obese, this may be a wonderful opportunity.

A Pessimist sees the Difficulty in Every Opportunity. An Optimist sees the Opportunity in Every Difficulty.
