The Tortoise and the Hare…How to Succeed?

The Tortoise and the Hare…How to Succeed?

Most of us remember the famous childhood story of the tortoise and the hare where the tortoise continues to move very slowly but without stopping and finally it wins the race.

The moral lesson of the story is that you can be more successful by doing things slowly and steadily rather than by acting quickly and carelessly.

What Can We Learn from the Tortoise & the Hare?

  • Lesson 1: Slow and steady wins the race. This statement has been used multiple times throughout my life and probably yours, but it has so much truth. ..
  • Lesson 2: Take each day, week and year, one small step at a time. …all the individual steps stack up to create incredible results.

So many ‘diet’ programmes are extremely intense and often very restrictive. For most, this may work temporarily, but in the long-term, it does not work.

Remember…Any reasonable eating plan will work for you if you have the right mindset. Get the tools and skills to manage the mind, feelings & behaviours FIRST!

Get the foundation in place before you decide on a ‘diet’ or eating schedule.

My Programmes, books, online courses and memberships are not about a strict restrictive diet or finding a quick fix. As we all know, these tend not to work and don’t last long. Yes, you may have some initial success but most are not able to sustain such dramatic quick changes for the long term.

It’s about learning HOW to manage your mindset, thoughts and feelings to be able to achieve real and lasting results.

Any sustainable health and weight management programme should never be about a strict diet or quick fix. Rather it’s about reconditioning your mindset to get sustainable results and achieve long-lasting health and vitality. Learn to take steps to change your relationship with food and exercise for life.

Changing your ‘diet’ without changing your mindset (how you manage thoughts & feelings) is pointless as it will not create lasting changes to your lifestyle.

My ‘Health You Deserve’ Programme takes a holistic whole-person approach.

It is a weight management programme that is about foundational comprehensive changes to managing thoughts & feelings as well as establishing healthy habits and lifetime motivation.

My next online ‘Health You Deserve Programme’ is scheduled for June…look out for details in the coming months…
